Rochdale celebrate

Rochdale made it through to the League Two Play-Off Final in dramatic style, with a penalty win over Darlington.

Goalkeeper Tommy Lee was the hero after saving from Jason Kennedy to send Dale through to their first ever Play-Off final.

Leading 2-1 from the first leg it was first blood to Darlington when Clark Keltie scored from the spot, after Kennedy was tripped by Rene Howe. Dagnall gave the home side hope just before the break to make it 3-2 on aggregate and David Perkins scored a wonder goal to send the tie into extra time.

The home side were reduced to 10 men in extra time but held on to take the game to penalties, with Ben Muirhead scoring the winning spot kick.

Rochdale will now wait to find out who they will face as Stockport take on Wycombe in the other Semi Final.
