Chelsea v Spurs
Chelsea will wear all blue and Spurs all white in the final.

Avram Grant's side booked their place in the final with a 3-1 aggregate win over Everton, while Tottenham's supporters will long remember their 6-2 aggregate victory over Arsenal, the first time that had beaten their fierce rivals in 21 matches, stretching back nine years.

It will be the first time that Chelsea have met Tottenham Hotspur at this stage of the competition and it means that, with both managers being relatively new to the English game, one of them will pick up their first piece of silverware, in their first year in charge in England.

The game will be Spurs' first appearance in the League Cup Final for six years, when they lost 2-1 to Blackburn Rovers. The last time that they won this competition was back in 1999 when they beat Leicester 1-0.

Frank Lampard lifts the Carling Cup trophyChelsea are the current holders having beaten Arsenal 2-1 last season and should they win the Cup, it will be the third time in four seasons the trophy has gone back to Stamford Bridge.
